Alexander Van Damme

co-CEO

Alexander is a partner in Bedal, he holds a degree in bio-engineering and in Economics. Alexander has an extensive experience in integral product development and in the successful launching and licensing of new products. Alexander’s ingenuity has driven Bedal from a small European start-up to a major player in the global catheter securement marketplace.

Steve Bierman, M.D.

co-CEO

Steve worked for 20 years as an Emergency Physician at Scripps Hospital in Encinitas, California. He holds over 200 patents on medical devices and other inventions, and is the founder of two medical device companies. More than two dozen of Dr. Bierman's medical inventions are currently in daily use around the world. Recently, Dr. Bierman published his groundbreaking book, HEALING - Beyond Pills & Potions. The book won the 2020 Best Indie Book Award in non-fiction/health.
